Although this is meant to be a engine workout, you still have to pace it correctly to get the most out of it. Approach each run as if it were a 1.5 mile run. You have to pull back enough to allow the last run to be as fast as the first run. Your burpees should be controlled, sustainable and have a momentary pause after each one.
