It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce a very special event that will held at CrossFit Redline on March 6th at 4pm.  

Chris Costa, of Costa Ludus Training, is one of the most saught after firearms and tactical instructors in the country. He is also one of the most dynamic and gifted speakers I have ever had the opportunity to listen to and there is not one person I know of that can listen to him speak and not come away with some valuable pearl of wisdom that could ultimately save their life.

Chris will be in town and has offered to hold a 2 hour lecture, discussion and Q&A on situational awareness at CrossFit Redline. This lecture will be absolutely free for you to attend and is no doubt a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from one of the best tactical minds available to civilians. Think of situational awareness as a heightened state of your surroundings, people and objects in those surroundings and how to minimize your exposure to possible dangers from them. From simply walking to your car at night and getting on an elevator to hitting the ATM or a bar with your friends be aware of your surroundings and being observant can make the difference.

About Chris Costa:

Prior to Costa Ludus, Chris Costa spent 4 years as the President of Magpul Dynamics. Before founding Magpul Dynamics, Costa spent 7 years in the private sector at Applied Marine Technologies Inc. (AMTI) on assignment with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Risk Management Division (RMD). At AMTI, Costa specialized in teaching Police Tactical Assault Operations for both Maritime and Critical Infrastructure take-back. Costa also provided Red Team Vulnerability Assessments on critical infrastructures for the US Government.

Prior to this, Costa spent 12 years with the United States Coast Guard, conducting counter-drug operations and special missions in Europe, the Middle East, and South America with such units as: the International Training Division (ITD), Maritime Law Enforcement Academy, Plank-Owner of Port Security Unit 302, and the Taclet Law Enforcement Team North.
