02-27-15 “15.1”

Last night’s announcement of “15.1” kicks of the CrossFit Games competitive season and leads us into the next 5 weeks of Opens workouts. If you logged on and watched the live stream of Froning and Fraser, you got a look at two of the best in the business go rep for rep in an exciting match up. Tomorrow, it’s your turn and the excitement will be equally high.

 

Here is how Friday Night Lights will work, Heat Times will be listed on the whiteboard by the restroom at 4:30. The Heats will be coed and will be filled in a first come first served format. You may only put your name into a heat and no one else’s. The first heat will begin promptly at 5:30 and a new heat will start every 30 minutes until all athletes are done. We will provide all registered athletes with an approved score sheet and a judge. Registered athletes will be responsible for entering your scores for validation.

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 9 minutes of:
15 toes-to-bars
10 deadlifts (115 / 75 lb.)
5 snatches (115 / 75 lb.)

Scaled

15 hanging knee raises
10 deadlifts (85 / 55 lb.)
5 snatches* (85 / 55 lb.)
*ground-to-overhead allowed

Masters

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 9 minutes of:
15 toes-to-bars
