The 2015 CrossFit Games Opens are upon us and this year, they will no doubt prove to be the most inclusive tests of fitness ever developed. A new “Scaled Option” makes it easy for even the newest member to be fully involved in the Opens right next to the elite.
As the gateway to the CrossFit Games Finals, the Opens are your chance to see how you compare to other CrossFitters across the globe. One workout per week is release by CrossFit which you will complete at CrossFit Redline with your classmates, coaches, friends and family cheering you on. We will provide certified and approved judges for each event and after each week, you will upload your score to the worldwide leader board.
Like in years past, we will host a Friday Night Lights competition series. Each Friday afternoon over the course of the Opens, CrossFit Redline will become ground zero for the competition. Heats and judges will be assigned, spectators will be in no short supply, the energy will be palpable and the experience unforgettable.
Our physical preparations for the Opens began several weeks ago and I have no doubt each of you will have an amazing time, learn something about yourself and reach new levels of fitness for your efforts.
BUT…You have to register!!! It’s simple, go http://games.crossfit.com and follow the directions to register for the largest fitness competition ever held!!! Once you do you can set up your custom athlete profile, tell the world about yourself and also represent CrossFit Redline by joining our team.
Each week we will release a Prep guide for each workout of the Opens. In it you will find, strategic gems on pacing, rep partitioning, fueling and basically how to get the most out of your body for that workout.
Get registered and get ready for some fun….We will also host a an after Opens party immediately following the final workout at a location to be announced.
