Meet the owners
CrossFit Redline is a dream come true for Anthony and Alison DiSarro. Both law enforcement officers with a combined 30 years of experience, their passion is for helping others. Best friends to each other and parents to four amazing children, the DiSarros have fostered a feeling of family and community at CrossFit Redline that feels familiar the moment you walk in.
Alison DiSarro is a veteran law enforcement officer of over 13 years and was a standout High School soccer player traveling with two competitive teams. After “working out” at standard gyms she was later Introduced to CrossFit by her husband in 2008. Alison spent 2 years doing CrossFit before becoming a Level 1 Trainer. As a school resource officer, Alison has dedicated many hours educating children of all ages. In addition to coaching CrossFit group classes, Alison has also coached youth soccer and has run the Strength & Conditioning program for the Naples Juniors Volleyball Club for 4 years.
Anthony DiSarro is a native of Naples, Florida and began CrossFit in 2007 while searching for a break from the monotony of the standard gym scene. A collegiate baseball player, then law enforcement officer and SWAT team member, fitness has always been an important part of Anthony’s life. “CrossFit replaced the feeling of sport I was missing after baseball and presented a bigger challenge than my typical gym routine”. After years of instructing thousands of police officers in a variety of topics Anthony developed a broad set of communication and teaching skills that work perfectly in a CrossFit group setting. Anthony is CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Olympic certified coach. Anthony is also an OPT Associate Coach with course work in Anatomy & Physiology, Assessment, Program Design and Nutrition. Through his association and learnings with OPT, Anthony has worked closely with ’07 CrossFit Games Champion James FitzGerald, CrossFit Games veteran and ’12 CrossFit Games 3rd place athlete Talayna Fortunato, multiple CrossFit Games and regional athletes and is the only local coach to coach an athlete to the CrossFit Games. Anthony is a member of the Balanced Bites, Practical Paleo Team as a guest blogger and seminar presenter. We welcome all… young, old, athletes and the not athletic as long as you are open minded, prepared to work and leave your ego at the door. We believe in education, physicality and that exercise is vital to all of us. Our coaches will not ask you to something they haven’t already done. Your safety is our number one priority, followed very closely by bringing you to a level of fitness you never thought possible.
OPT and CrossFit Redline- the relationship between OPT and CrossFit Redline began in 2008 when then CrossFit Games Champion James FitzGerald, owner of Optimum Performance Training (OPT) walked through our doors while on vacation. Since then, OPT has become the premier trainer of coaches for the sport of fitness and does so by integrating and transcending the latest information available in all areas of health and wellness including physical assessment, program design, nutrition and human behavior. CrossFit Redline has chosen to align itself with OPT to provide more to our members and distinguish ourselves from the rest. The OPT CrossFit Redline relationship continues to grow. James has been teacher, mentor and now close friends with us and we host a very popular OPT Athlete Prep Camp each year which has drawn a number of CrossFit Games and Regional athletes. CrossFit Redline has three coaches that are part of the OPT Coaches Certification Program
