CrossFit Redline is a dream come true for Anthony and Alison DiSarro. Both law enforcement officers with a combined 30 years of experience, their passion is for helping others. Best friends to each other and parents to four amazing children, the DiSarros have fostered a feeling of family and community at CrossFit Redline that feels familiar the moment you walk in.
Anthony DiSarro is a native of Naples, Florida and began CrossFit in 2007 while searching for a break from the monotony of the standard gym scene. A collegiate baseball player, then law enforcement officer and SWAT team member, fitness has always been an important part of Anthony’s life. “CrossFit replaced the feeling of sport I was missing after baseball and presented a bigger challenge than my typical gym routine”. After years of instructing thousands of police officers in a variety of topics Anthony developed a broad set of communication and teaching skills that work perfectly in a CrossFit group setting. Anthony is CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Olympic certified coach. Anthony is also an OPT Associate Coach with course work in Anatomy & Physiology, Assessment, Program Design and Nutrition. Through his association and learnings with OPT, Anthony has worked closely with ’07 CrossFit Games Champion James FitzGerald, CrossFit Games veteran and ’12 CrossFit Games 3rd place athlete Talayna Fortunato, multiple CrossFit Games and regional athletes and is the only local coach to coach an athlete to the CrossFit Games. Anthony is a member of the Balanced Bites, Practical Paleo Team as a guest blogger and seminar presenter. Sought after for his ability to design fitness programs for a wide variety of people, Anthony has also been hired to develop the events for several weekend long fitness competitions for hundreds of athletes.
Alison DiSarro is a veteran law enforcement officer of over 13 years and was a standout High School soccer player traveling with two competitive teams. After “working out” at standard gyms she was later Introduced to CrossFit by her husband in 2008. Alison spent 2 years doing CrossFit before becoming a Level 1 Trainer. As a school resource officer, Alison has dedicated many hours educating children of all ages.
